I could have sworn BWI Airport had wireless internet access.
Which is why I scrambled this morning to tie up all my client projects, bid my family a fond farewell, and get myself to the airport way early: for several hours of uninterrupted airport time to catch up on blogs and blogging.
Tragically, I was mistaken. I thought I could get a little message up via my iPhone, but YOU try posting something from an iPhone and let me know how it goes.
So yet another day went by without a word from bossy color. I do apologize.
I hope to make up for it in the next few days, though: I'm at color camp!
Well, it's a conference of the International Association of Color Consultants North America. In San Diego. But I like calling it color camp. I hope to emerge inspired and re-energized...and I aim to post an entry or two while I'm here. I mean, come on. If color camp doesn't yield some good subject matter, well, that would be lame. On my part, not theirs.
So wish me luck.
I'm not optimistic about a campfire sing-along, but it would be awesome if they serve bug juice.

Color Camp! That sounds like one of those places I've never known I always needed to visit! Have fun.
Isn't it funny how five years ago no one really cared about wi-fi, and now it is earth shattering when you don't have it available? Or, when it costs $5 an hour for it? Psshhhht, I'm not paying you $20 to blog for 4 hours! ha
good luck at the IACC-NA seminar! i think you're going to Love it. no s'mores, but they do usually have a dish of European chocolates by the sign in table...
Thanks, guys! Rachel - I literally had just finished one of those chocolates when I picked up this comment! It's excellent - SO SERIOUS, which is exactly what I wanted. I hope to have time tonight to format your awesome guest post. Thank you again for that.
Annie - I'll be at "color camp", too! Looking forward to meeting you in person. Safe travels to you!!!
You will meet such great people there. That's even better than the credentials. It seems it's the after hours where it really comes alive.
I attended "color camp" last year with great excitement! The best part was chatting with others, I learned a lot. However, I was caught off guard? I guess I was thinking modern venue, inspiring PowerPoint presentation... The point of view did not resignate with me. Was it just me?
That would be resonate! :)
No. It's not just you. You need to be prepared and go in armed with the right attitude and clear goals to extract what it is you want from color camp. A privately shared heads-up from an experienced color camper can make all the difference.
Thank you so much for the comments, fellow color campers - I read them as soon as you posted them, even though I didn't have a chance to respond. I really appreciate it - and you're right that so much happens after class is over. On balance, a very good experience. But there was kind of a bizarre outburst from a woman who expected something more basic (not to sound exclusive, but she doesn't work in the field...if I were looking for decorating tips, I would have been disappointed, too.) Anyway, hope to post on the whole experience soon. Thank you again -
